It seems as if Patz is through the worst of her Enteric Corona Virus.... It's been a long week and a half around here!
It started with her vomiting and being very quiet and sleepy. This is not her! So off we went to her new vet clinic.
Around this same time the pet food recall thing started up and graduated into full-blown status. I FREAKED. I ran home and managed to find the can of IAMS tuna flakes with fish sauce she'd eaten and checked the dates. They did not correspond but I was not convinced she hadn't ingested poison. Eventually the vet talked me out of this. Some $500 later she was home but still not exactly in the pink and being isolated in the bedroom. After she jumped on my head for several nights, I found myself praying she'd have a nice solid stool as the vet prescribed for ending her isolation.... This was odd. A first in my life.
She was getting better and ready to make her debut back into the swim, when Pearl pushed the door open early one morning while I was sleeping... So it was the world that came in upon Patsy and not vice versa.
